2024–25: Insights Through Data” offers a dynamic overview of the wide-ranging training and support initiatives led by the Professional Development and School Improvement Teams across the Education Department, Education Operations, and Schools during the academic year 2024–25.
This edition also features a dedicated section highlighting the subject-specific support delivered by the Curriculum Team within the Education Department.
Through engaging and varied data visualisations, we aim to showcase the scale, diversity, and impact of our professional learning efforts across the network.
Empowering Educators Through Mandatory
- In 2024-25, an impressive 2783 teachers were enrolled in mandatory professional development courses led by our dedicated Instructional Coaches (ICs), reflecting our unwavering commitment to educational excellence. A total of 175 dynamic training sessions were conducted across the system, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- The PDSI Team took the lead in delivering the simulations of the mandatory courses to all ICs, the simulation sessions were conducted to empower ICs with cutting-edge instructional leadership strategies.

Cluster Support Sessions 2024-25
Recognizing the diverse and personalized professional development and school improvement (PD&SI) needs across schools and clusters, the PDSI team introduced the Cluster Support Mechanism in 2021–22. Each year, members of the PDSI team are assigned specific clusters to provide tailored support aligned with their unique needs.

Destination Next 2025 was conducted this year solely for Instructional Coaches at Beaconhouse,using the power of VFairs, a virtual event platform which harnesses technology to engage participants into a variety of developnentsl activities. Destination next was attended by more than 350 participants including 288 ICs from 36 clusters and guests from across Beaconhouse Head Office & Premier Schools i.e TNS, Newlands and Leo's workshop. ICs engaged with various activities during the event and identified their top priority strategic intents and collaboratively suggested actionable ways to contribute to them—focusing especially on Digital Transformation, Well-being, and Sustainability & Environment through training, mentoring, and school-based initiatives.

As part of the Destination Next Speaker Series, Beaconhouse conducted a 4-part webinar series titled “The ABCs of AI for Educators” to build foundational AI literacy among teachers and school leaders. The series aimed to empower educators to integrate AI meaningfully into teaching, enhance student engagement, and navigate ethical and policy considerations around AI in education.
